See you on the radio

Thanks so much to Ken Field for closing out The New Edge today on WMBR, Cambridge with my version of Mentre l’erbetta. If you’re a Stravinsky fan, you’ll recognize it as one of the sources for Pulcinella. The show will be archived on the WMBR website for two weeks.

It was double fun for me because I was back-to-back with Amy Denio, who become my role model the moment I interviewed her in the early days of the Billy Tipton Memorial Saxophone Quartet (now known as The Tiptons) in the late 1900s. When you’re over at Bandcamp, check out her new album Varianti. I’m planning to learn her Raven Waltz on the accordion.
