The Practice of Music

I am elated to share this interview that the author Rick Moody conducted with me for Salmagundi Magazine. Although the article was prompted by the release of my debut album, Letters of Transit, it’s about so much more than that.

I especially appreciate how Rick is uninterested in the inside-baseball trivia that plagues so many music interviews. Instead, we talk about the various ways that music intersects with life, the universe, and everything. Essentially, this is an article about the things that matter most in the world.
