I am elated to share this interview that author Rick Moody conducted with me for Salmagundi Magazine. Although prompted by the release of my debut album, it’s about so much more than that. We talk about the various ways that music intersects with life, the universe, and everything. Essentially, this is an interview about the things that matter most in the world.

In another time, I would have described my arrangement of the Rodgers and Hart song “Manhattan” as Spike Jones for the NPR set. Except no one remembers who Spike Jones was, and pretty soon the same will be true for NPR.
